Welcome to Michael Hibberd Motor Engineers. We are a Rolls-Royce and Bentley specialist as well as many other prestige and classic cars. Our 28 years of expertise in car maintenance, servicing and restoration started in 1970 when Michael completed his Rolls Royce apprenticeship. We are able to work on some of the earliest of cars right up to the most present car in the range. However, we quickly evolved into more than just a specialist Rolls Royce and Bentley restoration and maintenance business due, not only to our love for classic cars, but because customers asked us to apply our experience to other specific marques. Now our experience extends to Mercedes Benz, BMW, Ford, MG, Jaguar, and Austin Healey!, as well as Rolls Royce and Bentley's. Our workshop is fully equiped with engineering and bodyshop facilities. Our long standing team is highly trained. We work to very high standards and are often rewarded when some of our cars leave the works and promptly collect Silverware at 'concours de elegance' events. Our reputation extends beyond the UK. We have a very loyal customer base, some of whom will only trust us to work on their cars; even if they need to be collected from Switzerland. We have flown staff to the USA to service cars and sometimes to rectify faults caused by the local 'experts'. We have also replied to customers SOS from Europe with a full toolkit! Your collectable may at some time be involved in an accident. If the unfortunate happens, we can offer a comprehensive survey and quotation for insurance purpose, and subsequent repair.
